Alice Mwanza, APRN

Family Nurse Practitioner

Alice Mwanza is an Arizona-based Family Nurse Practitioner working at Phoenix Health Practitioners LLC.  People see Ms. Mwanza for annual physicals, prescriptions and refills, and general follow-ups. She addresses concerns like anxiety, sore throat, acne, hypertension, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), urinary tract infections (UTIs), and more.

Alice is a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with passion for providing high-quality healthcare to individuals and families across the lifespan. Her journey in healthcare began with an Associate Degree in Nursing where she developed a strong foundation in patient care. Driven by her desire to make a difference in the lives of patients, Alice pursued further education and obtained a bachelor’s then Master of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University.

Alice has over 18 years of healthcare experience. She began her career in healthcare at Banner Del Webb working as a Medical-surgical nurse, caring for patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. Alice later transitioned to Banner University Medical Center Phoenix progressive care unit where she managed patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions. These included arrhythmias, post-operative care following cardiac surgeries such as coronary artery bypass graft, valve replacements, artificial hearts, and transplant care in collaboration with the medical team to optimize patient outcomes. Other clinical areas include orthopedic, oncology, and psychiatry. Alice is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She is also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She stays current with the latest medical advancements and contributes to the well-being and vitality of the families under her professional guidance.

Caroline Nyakweba, APRN, FNP-C

Caroline is a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner with a deep commitment to patient-centered care. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from Grand Canyon University, where she cultivated a strong foundation in clinical expertise and holistic patient care. With over 15 years of experience in the medical field, Caroline has excelled in diverse areas such as oncology, medication research, and family practice, giving her a well-rounded perspective on healthcare.

Currently, Caroline serves as a primary care provider at Phoenix Health Practitioners, where she is dedicated to delivering personalized, high-quality care to her patients. She takes the time to truly listen, fostering a collaborative approach to healthcare by actively involving her patients in their treatment plans. Her compassionate nature and commitment to understanding her patients’ needs enable her to craft tailored solutions that prioritize their well-being and empower them to take charge of their health.

Beyond her professional achievements, Caroline values her personal life and finds joy in spending time with her family, attending church, traveling, and reading. Caroline Ombuna, NP

Family Nurse Practitioner

Caroline Ombuna is a Family Nurse Practitioner licensed in the state of Arizona. She attended Grand Canyon University where she obtained her Bachelors in Science Nursing, her Master of Science in Nursing, and went on to become a nurse practitioner. She is certified with American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Caroline has extensive experience in healthcare. She has practiced over 17 years in various settings, the majority of those in Oncology/Hematology before going into Family Medicine. She mainly focuses on disease prevention, early detection, health promotion and disease management. She is a caring and compassionate provider that treats everyone with kindness and compassion. She treats acute illnesses as well as chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, thyroid issues, obesity and weight management. She also does screening for any other diseases for early detection, and focuses on healthy maintenance on all populations. She is passionate in coming up with an effective treatment plan that focuses on every individual's needs. Caroline has extended her care to the psychiatry population by providing medical needs/care, counseling and education on substance abuse.

Caroline is a member of Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Association (ANA), and American Academy of Nursing (AAN).

Besides work, Caroline enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, watching movies, and cooking her favorite dishes.

Jaimie Lukose, APRN

Family Nurse Practitioner

Jaimie Lukose is a family nurse practitioner based in Phoenix, Arizona. She is originally from Chicago, Illinois. She has over six years of experience in healthcare. She focuses on preventative care, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, weight management, anxiety, depression, geriatric screening, and cardiac health.

​

She started her journey in healthcare with a bachelor’s degree in nursing of science. She started working in various fields of nursing including general medicine, surgical telemetry, and acute/critical care in the emergency department. She began her career working in her hometown, Chicago at Loyola University Medical Center. She later moved to Arizona to expand her experience in a rural setting in the Indian health service at Tuba City, Arizona. She worked directly with the Native American population during the covid pandemic to provide immediate care in the emergency room. A few years later, she returned to Phoenix to work with our Veterans population in the Phoenix VA Medical Center.

Working directly with patients at bedside for many years, Jaimie found a passion in patient care when she decided to pursue her master’s degree of Family nurse practitioner at Grand Canyon University. She is a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Indian American Nurses association. She has a devotion to provide compassion and healing to her patients.

Symonpeter Ndungu, PMHNP-BC, NP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Symonpeter specializes in providing comprehensive support for individuals facing a diverse array of mental health conditions. These include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, addiction, ADHD, PTSD, sleep disorders, and schizophrenia. Beyond clinical diagnoses, many clients also seek guidance in managing significant life stressors, such as coping with grief, processing trauma, or addressing relationship difficulties.

In every interaction, the professional views the therapeutic process as a collaborative journey. By working closely with clients, they foster a sense of partnership in overcoming challenges. Dr. Tirsa Quartullo, DCNP, DNP

Nurse Practitioner (Dermatology)

Meet Tirsa C. Quartullo, DNP, DCNP, a warm and highly skilled Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner based in Phoenix, AZ. With a passion for helping patients feel confident and cared for, Tirsa brings years of expertise in both medical and cosmetic dermatology to every appointment.

Tirsa’s journey in healthcare began with earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 1999, followed by a Master of Science (MS) as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2002, both from the University at Buffalo in New York. In 2009, she achieved her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Rocky Mountain University in Provo, Utah.

Her dermatology career took root in 2005 when she completed an internship in general and cosmetic dermatology in West Des Moines, Iowa. That same year, she began practicing at a small dermatology clinic in Phoenix’s West Valley. Since 2013, Tirsa has been part of the Arizona Dermatology team, working alongside some of the region’s top dermatologists and expanding her expertise in advanced dermatologic care.

Tirsa is passionate about mastering her craft. Through countless hours of hands-on training and ongoing education with leading industry experts, she has developed a reputation as both a talented artist and a meticulous practitioner who prioritizes her patients' safety and satisfaction. She stays on the cutting edge of dermatology, always exploring the latest techniques and innovations to deliver exceptional results.

Beyond her clinical practice, Tirsa shares her knowledge by serving as a speaker for companies like AbbVie, Regeneron, and Galderma, where she also trains injectors. She has shaped the next generation of healthcare professionals as an adjunct faculty member and clinical preceptor at Arizona State University’s College of Nursing and Health Innovation.
